Worked well until today’s power-up: SQL runs but Apache doesn’t. Tell me why?
Already reinstalled. OS Windows XP SP2.

Very often Apache does not start because Skype or ICQ is already running, which use port 80. If this is the case, then start them after you start Apache, and even better, remap ports in their settings. I myself use xampp, I also could not understand why Apache did not start until I turned off Skype.

Apache may not start due to variousreasons, for example:
- more than one web server running at the same time;
- Apache is being blocked by other programs using port 80;
- a firewall (or antivirus) is running in the system, blocking the Apache port;
First, look at the logs:
more < "c:\xampp\apache\logs\error.log"
and if there is an error, fix it.
Apache needs another 443 port, maybe it is busy (for example, SVN is worth it)
